Johnstons Marine Services is a full-service marine engine, electrical systems, and drive train repair facility specializing in Volvo products. The Company was founded by Neil Johnston and Shayila Johnston. A keen eye is kept on all aspects of customer service, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction leading to repeat business and referrals. Johnstons Marine Services operates in and around Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties in South Florida. Known as the Florida Gold Coast, these counties are known for the wealth and affluent lifestyle of their residents. Yachts and boats are an integral part of the coastal lifestyle.

The Company operates with a high degree of efficiency and is highly responsive to customer requests for service. Thorough troubleshooting and mechanical assessments are conducted in order to produce a comprehensive price quotation. Business hours are generally Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm

OWNER PROFILE:

Neil Johnston, Johnstons Marine Services owner, has more than 20 years of direct industry experience. He is a certified Volvo Marine Engine, Electrical Systems, and IPS Drive technician who trained in a South Florida Volvo boat dealership. Mr. Johnston has extensive knowledge in a variety of marine engines, land-based Volvo generators, and a highly transferable skill set. He has developed a strong networking relationship with marina and dealership personnel, boat owners, and boat captains over his many years in the South Florida boating community. His technical expertise and ability is in demand in the target market. Mr. Johnston is a highly motivated and creative technician with a strong drive to further develop and expand his Company.

Shayila Johnston, Johnstons Marine Services co-owner, has over 20 years of corporate management experience. She holds a Business Degree from Bloomfield College and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. She is self-motivated and results-oriented with strong leadership skills. She is highly analytical, adapts quickly to changing conditions, and meets challenges head-on. Mrs. Johnston deftly manages all business operations of the Company. She is an inspired entrepreneur with the business skills, creativity, and drive to expand Company operations.
